I plan to have a king bed and moved into the top move to buy my daughter later this month. I went to a furniture store and found the bed of my dreams with the appropriate clothes and comfortable with a large mirror. Its made by Bassett. How do I qualify? This is furniture that I have when I retire in 25 years? Bassett Furniture is the quality?

I do not know the craft, Tater. They are a source of old furniture there, but. And like most similar companies that had the transition from a manufacturer to a design firm and marketing. They had to outsource the actual production to Asia to meet demand from consumers for lower prices.
Bassett problem is that you can not find a good niche in the market. They are not a low-cost producers, because they still have too much work. There are hundreds of other importers of similar products which can kill at a price. So we had to raise prices and add a little style and celebrity support.
Independent retailers must not Bassett, because of all the importers of the others I mentioned. Since they have no distribution, by opening their own stores.
